How keys work
Your license key is what unlocks Mint. This page covers how you receive it, what it’s bound to, and what happens if you try to share it.
Getting your key
Keys are emailed to the address you used at checkout. Look for an email from support@mintmacros.com shortly after purchase.
If you can’t access that email, open a support ticket on our Discord and we’ll help you locate the key tied to your purchase.
What your key is bound to
Each key is bound to one hardware ID and one Minecraft account UUID. The mod selects your UUID by binding it to whichever account you first enter the key on.
Once those are set, they cannot be changed. Pick the right account and the right machine the first time.
Mint reads your account UUID from three independent sources at launch and re-checks every 5 seconds and on every server join. If everything matches, you won’t notice a thing. If something doesn’t, the macro refuses to start and tells you why in chat.
Sharing or fabricating keys
Attempting to share an account, swap profiles to dodge the UUID check, or fabricate a key will result in your key being revoked with no refund, and may result in a permanent ban from Mint services.
