Logs and commands

Mint ships with a companion console window — the LogViewer — that runs alongside Minecraft. It shows what the macro is doing in real time and gives you a control surface outside the game.

Starting LogViewer

Drop Mint-X.Y.Z-LogViewer.jar into the same mods/ folder as your main Mint jar. Launch Minecraft normally and the LogViewer window opens beside the game on every supported launcher.

LogViewer commands

You can type these directly in the LogViewer window:

In-game chat commands

Mint registers a family of /mint* commands that you can type in Minecraft chat. They’re processed entirely on your machine and never sent to the server — the server, other players, and anti-cheat systems never see them. Open chat, start with a slash, and Brigadier will tab-complete the rest.

/mintnick <name>

Visually rename yourself. Replaces your username everywhere it appears on your screen: chat lines, tab list, floating nametags above your character, scoreboards, action-bar messages, and Hypixel SkyBlock’s NPC menu titles and lore.

Names are 1–16 characters, letters / digits / underscore only (the same constraints Mojang applies). On Hypixel, your existing rank prefix and name color follow the nick automatically — you don’t need to set them manually. Re-running /mintnick <newname> swaps in one step; no need to clear first.

Avatar / skin-preview mods that look up players by name (5zig avatars, NickHider previews, RPC integrations, "X just joined" toasts) keep working — Mint patches the lookup so the nick still resolves to your real skin behind the scenes.

/mintrank <rank>

Spoof a Hypixel rank prefix in front of your name. Tab-completes the full ladder. Renders only when you’re connected to a Hypixel server — on other servers and singleplayer worlds the override sits silent so you don’t look out of place.

The rank’s native color is applied to your name to match what Hypixel shows for real holders. Common aliases work: mvp+, mvp++, vipp, gm, pig, techno all resolve to their canonical rank.

Composes cleanly with /mintnick and /mintskin — setting a manual rank doesn’t get clobbered when you later run /mintnick.

Premium ranks — Mint+

Special prefixes — [OWNER], [ADMIN], the [ዞ] staff glyph, [YOUTUBE], [MOJANG], [GM], [EVENTS], [HELPER], the iconic [PIG+++], and others — are gated to Mint+ subscribers.

/mintlevel <0–1000>

Spoof your SkyBlock level — the bracketed number that sits before your name in chat and tab. Renders only inside the SkyBlock game mode (other Hypixel modes don’t use this decoration, so we don’t add ours there either).

The bracket renders with dark-gray brackets and a tier-coloured number, exactly like Hypixel’s native rendering. The 40-step palette cycles every 40 levels: gray → white → yellow → green → dark green → aqua → dark aqua → blue → light purple → dark purple → gold → red → dark red.

/mintskin <name>

Clone any player’s public Mojang skin onto your character. Renders everywhere your skin appears — third-person view, mirrors, item-frame heads, third-party skin-preview mods (5zig, SkinLayers3D), and the player-list head icons.

Resolution takes 1–3 seconds while Mint asks Mojang for the target’s textures, then the skin lands instantly. The clone persists across world joins — we re-resolve on each connection so the skin is always current.

Other commands

All commands are client-side

The /mint* family is registered through Fabric’s client-only command dispatcher — the server never receives the keystrokes, the command name, or the resulting overrides. Hypixel doesn’t know any of this exists, can’t detect it, and the overrides cannot be reported or punished. The rewrites render exclusively on your client’s screen.

Live stats

The window streams what matters as you fish:

Themes

Click the three green dots in the top-right corner of the LogViewer to open the theme picker. Each theme swaps the entire palette — window background, title bar, command input, text shades, and accent color — not just the accent. Switching is live; no restart needed.

Your choice persists across launches. The active theme is marked with a checkmark in the menu, and each row shows a tiny preview swatch of the theme’s background and accent.

If LogViewer doesn’t open

Check your launcher log for LogViewer JAR not found. It almost always means only the main jar is installed — both jars need to be in your mods folder.
